Move Discord conversations without losing context

A guided Move wizard for messages, threads, forum posts, and private threads. The author's name, avatar, media, and reactions stay with the conversation.

Pippin is the Discord bot that moves messages, threads, forum posts, and private threads between channels. A move keeps the original author’s name and avatar, media, and emoji reactions. Only members who were @mentioned in the original message bodies get pinged. Start with the introduction for what a move keeps.

The product site is pippin.gg. Guides there walk through moving messages, threads, forum posts, and every destination. Plans and monthly caps are on pippin.gg pricing.

What people come here to fix

Discord has no built-in move for a message, a thread, or a forum post. These are the jobs the docs cover.

Limits

One move counts each message that is copied. Creating a new thread or forum post can add one extra move. One run handles up to 200 messages. The free tier includes 300 moves per month plus 1,000 one-time bonus moves. Every feature included. Monthly quotas reset at midnight UTC on the 1st. /move_status shows the plan, monthly usage, and remaining bonus moves.

Every plan includes every feature. Plans differ only in monthly moves:

PlanMoves per monthLifetime (one-time)Monthly
Free300 + 1,000 one-time bonus movesFreeFree
Starter3,000$49.99$3.99
UnlimitedUnlimited moves every month. Up to 200 messages per run.$99.99$7.99

Prices are in USD, plus tax. A lifetime plan is a one-time payment. You keep the plan’s monthly limit for as long as Pippin operates, on the server you bought it for. You can upgrade Lifetime Starter to Lifetime Unlimited on the same server. You pay the $50 difference between the list prices.

Bonus moves are used after the monthly moves run out. They do not expire and do not reset. Booster packs add 1,500 or 4,000 bonus moves. Buy plans and packs on Plans and pricing.

The support server has no monthly move limit. The 200-messages-per-run cap still applies. You can try a move there, then add Pippin to your server.
